NeutralThe 25th of June was an extremely sad day for myself.
First of all.
At approximately 5.10pm, my cat Jasper, was taken to vet because he wasnt acting like his normal self. I, of course, looked on the brighter side of it all and thought it was something minor, nothing to worry about. Later that evening, my parents both returned home, but to my shock, without the cat. My mother then told me that he had arthritis in both his back legs, and had kidney failure. This was causing him much pain. He could of been given many different medications to help cure the problems, but it wasnt guaranteed to work, and would have cost alot. My father, decided to have him put down, which was the best for everyone
So, at 6:00pm, my cat was put out of his pain.
Then, later that night, Michael Jackson was taken into hospital and then pronounced dead. At this time, I couldnt cry anymore. I was in so much shock that these two events happened in one even that I was incapable of emotion. The fact that one of my music idols, who I had been desperate to see live, or even in person, had died.
I apologize to people who I spoke to for my depressive state that I was in. But, I just wanted to clear why I was so upset.
The 25th of June will be a day I will never forget.
Goodbye both to my cat, Jasper, who was by far, the best pet I have ever owned.
And goodbye to the King of Pop, Micheal Jackson. May your music live on for years to come.
